Join a small group of like-minded peers for a short-term yet powerful cognitive behavioral therapy group.  Led by a dating anxiety specialist and modeled after evidence-based treatments, this group emphasizes education, experiential exercises, and homework assignments.  Rewire your anxiety-promoting thought patterns, improve your self-esteem, and practice new dating skills via role-play.

*Cost includes a private 50-min session with the group facilitator.  All sessions must be paid, even in the event of absences.  Weekly payment plans are available -- please inquire.

Frequently Asked Questions

How large will the group be?

We will limit the group to 8 members; with absences, this typically means the group will average 6 members present.

My anxiety makes it difficult for me to speak up in groups.  I'm also intimidated by the idea of role-playing.  To what extent am I required to participate in the group and will I be called upon by the facilitator?

We understand that your anxiety might make joining a group challenging. We don't require a particular level of participation in the group, nor do we force members to participate in exposure therapy activities like role-playing.  Instead, we invite you to challenge yourself to participate in whatever way feels like "a stretch but not a strap."  We'll invite volunteers and may at times check in with quieter members, but you're always welcome to sit quietly and simply observe or say "pass." 

How do I sign up for the group?

What does the intake process look like?

Once you've purchased access to the group here, we'll contact you and schedule a phone intake.  During that phone call, we'll answer your questions, ensure you're a good fit for the group and vice versa, and schedule your 50-min private session with the group facilitator.  At that session, you and the facilitator will get to know one another, discuss the group, and explore your goals.  You'll then be ready to go for our first group session.

 I can't afford to pay the full group fee in one payment.  Are payment plans available?

Yes, we're happy to offer a payment plan to those who'd prefer to pay in installments throughout the group.  In these cases, we require a $149 non-refundable deposit upon sign-up and a weekly $35 payment after each group session.  

I can't make every session of the group.  Should I still sign up?  

Since this is a brief group and each week introduces a new topic, we recommend signing up only if you're confident you can make at least 5 of the 6 sessions.

Do I need to pay for sessions that I can't attend?

Yes.  Regardless of the number or reasons of any absences, you are required to pay for the group in full.

Can I attend the first session and then decide whether to attend the full group?
